Julia Arzeno, MD is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. She was awarded the David Geffen Scholarship, a full merit-based scholarship for medical school at UCLA. She earned her medical degree at UCLA and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She completed her dermatology residency at UCLA and was selected as Chief Resident. Following residency, she completed a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at UCLA where her training included a breadth of complex cases and reconstructive surgeries.

Dr. Arzeno is passionate about helping patients – she enjoys working together with patients to help them understand cutaneous oncology and to determine the best treatment and reconstructive plan based on individual goals, prioritizing cosmetic and functional outcomes.

Dr. Arzeno has an avid interest in research. She has participated in multiple NIH-funded research programs at UCSF and Stanford, was an Amgen Scholar, and completed research in dermatology and dermatologic surgery at UCLA. She has published original research articles in peer-reviewed journals, authored several book chapters, and presented at national conferences. Outside of clinic, she has volunteered her time seeing patients at low-income clinics and participated in UCLA’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee.  In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, hiking, horseback riding, baking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
