Armaan Guraya, DO

Armaan Guraya, DO, is a board-certified dermatologist dedicated to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care for patients of all ages. He has a special interest in medical dermatology and is passionate about delivering effective, cost-conscious treatment plans while ensuring every patient feels heard and informed.
Dr. Guraya earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he published more than a dozen peer-reviewed research papers and was selected as an NIH Medical Student Research Program Scholar. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C., followed by his dermatology residency at Frontier Dermatology in Salem, Oregon.
Throughout his career, Dr. Guraya has remained committed to advancing dermatologic care through research. His work has focused on improving outcomes for patients with skin diseases across diverse skin types, including a notable systematic review examining racial and skin tone differences in atopic dermatitis outcome measures. He has authored numerous publications in leading peer-reviewed medical journals covering topics such as eczema, psoriasis, autoimmune skin diseases, and dermatologic health disparities.
Dr. Guraya chose dermatology to help address the historical underrepresentation of diverse skin types in dermatologic education and research. He enjoys diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical skin conditions while helping patients understand their treatment options and make informed decisions about their care.
Outside the office, Dr. Guraya enjoys traveling, hiking, exploring local breweries, and discovering new places with family and friends.
