Philip Song, MD, was born and raised in Los Angeles, where he developed an early interest in science and biology. He completed medical school at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and completed dual residency training in both Dermatology and Internal Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He then served on the faculty at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center at Harvard. He enjoyed seeing patients with all kinds of skin conditions and teaching medical students and trainees, and was given the Annual Teaching Award for the Harvard Medical School Dermatology Faculty in 2018.

After almost two decades on the East Coast, he was thrilled to return to California and strives to provide excellent care to patients from all walks of life with skin cancers and skin diseases. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing fetch with his dog, and playing the electric guitar.
