Tracy Ngo, MD, is a dermatologist committed to delivering personalized, evidence-based care for patients of all ages. She specializes in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, with clinical interests in skin cancer prevention and treatment, acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, hair loss, pigmentary disorders, and non-surgical facial rejuvenation. Her aesthetic philosophy emphasizes subtle, natural-looking results that help patients to look refreshed and feel confident.

Dr. Ngo earned her Doctor of Medicine from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she received the Dean’s Recognition Award and graduated with Distinction in Research. After finishing her preliminary internal medicine internship at Kaiser Permanente Oakland, she went on to complete dermatology residency at UC Davis Medical Center where she served as Cosmetic Chief Resident. In this leadership role, she organized cosmetic training sessions in neuromodulators, dermal fillers, laser treatments, chemical peels, and collagen biostimulators.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Ngo is committed to advancing the field of dermatology through research and education. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and presented at national dermatology conferences. Her work has focused on skin of color, immunotherapy-associated skin disease, and the dermatologic manifestations of COVID-19. She also served as resident board member of the Sacramento Valley Dermatology Society where she helped to connect community dermatologists and foster a collaborative learning environment for practitioners to network and share clinical pearls.

Dr. Ngo believes in partnering with her patients to develop personalized treatment plans that prioritize evidence-based care, education, and prevention. She is committed to helping every patient feel comfortable, informed, and confident throughout their care.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Ngo enjoys Pilates, painting, photography, cooking, and baking with her century-old sourdough starter, “Doughbert.” She is fluent in English and conversational in Vietnamese.
