Bruce D. Bauer, MD, is an experienced dermatologist dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered dermatologic care. He has practiced at Pariser Dermatology in Norfolk, Virginia, since 2014.

Dr. Bauer earned his Doctor of Medicine from Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed his dermatology residency at Marshfield Clinic, where he served as Chief Resident. He earned his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Before pursuing medicine, Dr. Bauer spent several years as a middle and high school science teacher in California, an experience that helped shape his ability to explain complex topics clearly and connect with patients. He has also contributed to dermatology research and education through publications and presentations on topics including dermatologic treatments, sunscreen safety, seborrheic dermatitis, and dermatology residency training.
Dr. Bauer is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
