Step 1: A collection tube is used to draw a small amount of your blood, which is placed in a centrifuge.

Step 2: After 10 minutes in the centrifuge, the blood has separated into distinct layers, and the platelet-rich plasma is drawn into a syringe.

Step 3: Using a small needle and, depending on your doctor, a local anesthetic, the plasma is injected strategically into the areas of the scalp that need improvement.
